Perception is how I feel in response to what comes in through my senses. Perception is the filtered assessed pure neurological perception.
Fear of the unknown leads to high thinking intensity in me. This is self-protective behavior. There are more problems than there actually are because of the overlap on modalities from previous hazard situations. I am more cautious in my response than I need to be from a safety standpoint. If the color black in two previous situations both lead to danger then a new confrontation with black will more quickly lead to a danger signal. There are more cross-synaptic links due to previous perceptions.
Fear from the past. Fear of fear leads to exponentially more fear. Recreation of a past event.
If I change my feelings then I also change my perception. If I feel safe then the world looks very different than if I feel unsafe. From new perception, new behavior is possible. There is self-learning potential in this.
